Our commitment
The Meet’Her project aims to give a voice to women entrepreneurs around the world, who have overcome the barriers of starting a business.
Our objective is to gather testimonies from women who will inspire those who are hesitant to embark on the entrepreneurial adventure today.
“It is through short video interviews that we highlight those who have overcome social and cultural challenges to start their own company. Once back to France, we will be offering a feedback through different supports (conferences, round tables, workshops, etc.).
Why female entrepreneurship?
163 million women around the world launched their businesses in 2017 according to the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor study, a figure that is clearly increasing compared to 2016. However, only 30% of French companies are created by women.
A better apprehension of the specific problems of women’s entrepreneurship makes it possible to understand how to support these women in their activity.
Our ambition is to provide an international and feminine vision of entrepreneurship in order to feed the reflections and learn from these testimonies.
Understanding and learning to move forward
Many women face constraints that go beyond the simple creation of a business. Women entrepreneurs can only and very rarely, separate their professional activity from their other social roles.
Not all women are confident in their ability to cope with these obstacles because of existing inequalities in gender, status or skills.
The Meet’Her project shows that beyond morals or social obstacles, it is possible to follow one’s dreams to the end.
